Candle Care

Candle Care
  • The first time using your candle, allow your wax to burn until the full surface has melted to the edge of the jar, ideally about 3 hours. This will prevent tunneling and ensures that your candle will burn evenly throughout its lifespan.
  • Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Trim your wick to 1/4″ before lighting your candle every time. Taking care of the wick will allow your candle to burn properly.
  • Always burn your candle within eyesight & away from any flammable items.
  • Never burn the candle to the bottom of the container, only to the last 1/2″ of wax. This could result in the container overheating and cause a fire.
  • If the flame is creating black smoke residue around the jar, the flame is too big. Simply blow out the candle wait for the candle to cool off and trim the wick. Once the wax is fully hardened you can relight the candle.
  • If the wick is tilted after burning, use a wick dipper (or something similar) to straighten the wick upright and re-center in the candle.
  • Note: It is normal for all-natural soy candles to have frosting or rough surfaces after burning. This will not affect the quality of the candle. It is just the nature of using all-natural soy wax.
Now just sit back, relax and enjoy your candles! :)
